Cardi B Addresses Pregnancy Rumours, Nicki Beef in New Interview

In a chat with Beats 1's Ebro Darden, Cardi speaks about her new album 'Invasion of Privacy,' Offset, Nicki Minaj and her new fashion line.

We're mere hours away from the release of Cardi B's debut album Invasion of Privacy, and she dropped by Ebro Darden's Beats 1 show to chat about it. In the interview, Cardi addresses a variety of rumours surrounding her and the record, giving away little actual information but somehow making me love her even more. Speaking about the rumours floating that she's pregnant, Cardi told Ebro that "People just gotta tune in a little bit on my album" so they know a bit more. "I can't address all the rumours," she says, "People can't expect me to be open about everything. Certain things, to me, have to be private. You cannot invade my privacy –– I'm not a damn animal at the zoo." Watch that clip above.

In the interview she also spoke about her supposed beef with Nicki Minaj, firmly squashing those rumours. "I feel like [the beef] is just really internet made up," she tells Ebro. "Fans and people, they really wanna see that happen because it's really entertaining to see people beef. When Nicki and Remy was beefin, everyone was tuning in. I don't really have time for that."

When asked about whether "Be Careful" is about her relationship with Migos' Offset, Cardi confirmed that the breakup track isn't about him. "I wasn't talking about Offset," she says, "I just was talking about things I relate to and that have happened to me. I heard the record before I even was in love with Offset."

Cardi wears an incredible outfit in the interview, featuring a brightly coloured silk top, pink hair, a pink headscarf and glittery nails. In the interview she also discusses her fashion line; watch that clip on YouTube. The full interview airs on Beats 1 at 12AM in NYC, 9PM in LA, 5AM in London and 2PM in Melbourne. Cardi's debut album Invasion of Privacy drops tonight. She's released four songs from the record so far: "Bodak Yellow," "Bartier Cardi (feat. 21 Savage)," "Be Careful," and "Drip (feat. Migos)."
