Check Out Riva Starr's Remix of The Pioneers

And win Trojan Records stuff and a pair of Desert Treks in the latest instalment of Clarks Originals' Originals Remixed series.

This summer, Clarks Originals are celebrating their 40-year relationship with reggae and reggae culture by getting a bunch of top-flight producers to make exclusive remixes you can download for free. The ORIGINALS REMIXED series began with a wonderful Toddla T mix in July, and now it's the turn of Italy's Riva Starr to put a personal twist on the Trojan Records classic "Let Your Yeah Be Yeah"  by The Pioneers.

Riva Starr's effort retains the original's summery skank, while at the same time bringing in elements of more modern sounds, such as searching drum and bass lead synths and hissing, punitive dubstep percussion. It kind of sounds like the soundtrack to a very paranoid barbecue, so download it now at the Clarks Originals download centre or watch the video for it in the player above and keep it in mind for the next time you wake up on a Saturday with the sun in your face and a hangover that can only be cured by ingesting vast amounts of meat.

If that wasn't generous enough, Clarks Originals are also giving away special Desert Treks and a bunch of Trojan stuff on their website. Leave your name and email in the competition box here from August 6th till September 17th and be one of ten winners to receive the following prizes: A pair of Trojan Treks, the book Clarks in Jamaica by Al Fingers, The Story of Trojan Records box set; a Trojan T-shirt, a Trojan DJ Slip Mat and the 11-CD Trojan Presents range. Pretty good haul, right? Winners will be notified in September.

Keep your ears to the ground for more remixes to come by following @clarksoriginals, @VICEUK, @VICE_Fashion and @NoiseyMusic on Twitter… Up next will be Japan’s Mighty Crown this September.
