VICE Art Editor Nick Gazin Is Throwing a Party to Celebrate the Opening of His New Show

Come to the opening reception of 'Hello Badmind' from 6 PM until 10 PM at World Money Gallery in Brooklyn.

Nick Gazin is VICE's art editor and resident frozen food aficionado. He's also a hotshit artist, churning out album and tour art for folks like Run the Jewels and Wavves and designing clothing for Mishka and all sorts of exciting stuff like that.

For the last few weeks—in between enraging comic fans and downing packs frozen Chinese food—Nick's been slaving away on a new series of drawings. Those drawings are all done, which means that you, loyal readers of VICE, can finally feast your eyes on them at his new gallery show.

That show, which Nick's calling Hello Badmind, will open this Saturday at World Money Gallery in Brooklyn, and he wants you to come on by to the opening reception from 6 PM until 10 PM to celebrate. The show includes some big new pieces, some smaller pieces in Nick's "psychedelic corpse" style, and there'll be some various other Gazin trinkets for sale, too, like patches he designed. DJs Sicksentz and Lean Automatic will be there, playing dancehall.

If you're in the neighborhood, be sure to drop by, shower Nick in love and affection, and check out his art. If you bring Nick an Amy's frozen burrito and ask politely, he'll probably even sign it for you, too.

The opening reception for Hello Badmind starts at 6PM at World Money Gallery (41 Montrose Avenue). If you can't make it out until after 10, there will be an afterparty at Over the Eight on Union Ave in Williamsburg. The show will run from Saturday, June 11 through Thursday, June 30.
