OK, this is more our speed. For all anyone's misgivings about mod or ska culture, the one thing they got completely, indisputably right was shirts. Fred Perrys always get the top billing in this department, but unless you've got an Ian Stuart build they make you look like that chickeny upper-class guy from Naked. Ben Shermans were the better choice for gawky types, and had the added benefit in the US of not being associated with aging Italian Mafiosos. The whole schedule they've got laid out is pretty corny (the Proud gallery is currently hosting a heavy-looking exhibit of Kurt Cobain photos), but whatever, you can always slip off and go somewhere better.
