MANILA - GARBAGE TOWN

Today, from the Philippines, we continue our jaunt through Manila's sprawling garbage town, looking at the capital improvements that have been made by the Gov since the deadly 2000 trashslide. For one thing, they've managed to stop all the sudden insta-fires caused by the spontaneous combustion of pockets of methane. In our books, that is definitely a good start. On DOs & DON'Ts & Friends, Bronques Week ambles on in stride, and on the music channel, we've got some mellow new videos from Panda Bear and the High Strung to balance out all the trash and debauchery.
