HARLEM KING OF SPRING

This Saturday our pal Billy Rohan is hosting the King of Spring at Thomas Jefferson Park. It's going to be a best trick contest with 3,000 clams in prize money. The

Acapulco Gold

guys have been busy down at 12th and A building the ramps for the shindig, and from the looks of the angles and positions they're nailing boards together at, it should be pretty fun. Here's a couple of photos by

from their blog.

The contest is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, as well as a whole buttload of skate companies, so, in addition to the three grand in prize money, there'll probably be some other product getting thrown around for those of us too feeble to feeble (actually, I've never been able to do a feeble grind, and it has less to do with my muscle mass and more to do with my lack of coordination and courage thank you very much).

Oh yeah, The Muska's gonna be there too! I didn't even know he was living in New York until

B.A.'s Epicly Later'd

came out, but apparently he's a "special guest host." If that's not enough to get you to Harlem on Saturday, I give up.
