This past April, GHE20G0TH1K released a batch of unreleased tracks to their SoundCloud leading up to their one-off New York comeback back in May. Unsurprisingly, they were all really good, but one in particular felt like it was on its own level: "Schmurda Ha" by Skyshaker, AKA Skylaurr Rauthkeaux. It turns out the relatively unknown producer is a member of one of NYC's most prominent ballroom culture houses, the House of LaBeija, and is also signed to MikeQ's Qween Beat records.

If you go out regularly in New York, you've likely seen him voguing on stage during a Rizzla or Byrell The Great set, and his stunning capabilities as a dancer are certainly not lost on his own productions. His skills are clear as ever on his new Janet Jackson edit, "Burnitup! (Skyshaker LaBeija LSS Edition)," which was uploaded to SoundCloud with the very fitting description "| p l u s h |." Taking billowing-yet-glitchy moments from Jackson's original and melding them with an array of quickly-dealt samples, it dexterously manages to evolve constantly while maintaining a consistent atmosphere and vibe.
