Stop What You're Doing, AC Slater Remixed Shift K3Y

We got the exclusive on "I Know," a House & Bass insta-classic

We might be waiting another week for the next installment of Night Bass, but AC Slater's got you covered in the interim with a characteristically whomped out remix of fast-rising UK producer Shift K3Y's "I Know." The tune is Shift K3y's second single on Columbia, after his undeniable "Touch" reached #3 on the UK charts.

The Slater/K3Y combination is a surefire win for anybody in on this whole house&bass movement, and this remix finds Slater both building upon and complementing the original. It manages to merge bassline swagger with acid house vibes and some poppy-as-fuck vocals. Slater's got such a hold on this sound in the US that we've actually started hearing people refer to the style as "night bass," but this rendition in particular goes easier on the bassweight and keeps things deeply housey. We've got it on repeat.
