Texas continues as a hardcore punk stronghold/headlock with the release of a new track from Houston's The Pose. "Crushed Under Foot", taken from a forthcoming cassette, has the four-piece exploring more of the Burning Spirits Japanese style complete with guitar break and "ggwwwarh" vocal intro.Following their Dig An Endless Grave 7', that was released last year on Warthog Speak, the band, who feature members of Dress Code and Back to Back, have perfected that blend of thuggish menace and barely contained melody.The Pose will also be playing at Houston's Summer Breeze Volume One, a weekend long event in June, that includes some of the killer Texan hardcore bands such as Dress Code, Sexpill, Scourge and Lace.
