More music, you say. Yes, but summer is the time for sounds outdoors. And what sounds there will be at the Field Day music festival in Victoria Park this Saturday. With not one, but three Creators playing the event and after party. Sitting atop their pop thrones will be French hit makers Phoenix and upcoming Creator Matthew Herbert, who will be touring his project One Club. Created from the measurable sounds of a Frankfurt nightclub, the performance will be a live version of his soon to be released album of the same name. And while Yuck are not officially Creators, they played our London event, and will also be there. Along with many, many more. Check the full line-up over at the festival’s site. If you're in London, stop by.We're not done yet. The “official” Field Day after party will be at Cable in south London where forthcoming Creator DJ Mehdi will be on hand to make sure people aren’t slacking on the partying front as the hours go on. And if you still want more, Richie Hawtin's M-nus label will be taking over Room 1 of Fabric with Marco Carola, Rhadoo, and Heartthrob, keeping everyone moving until 8AM.Because it’s Friday, and this post is about Phoenix, we’ve also included the video of PS22 chorus singing “Liztomania” in case you haven’t seen it yet.
