Kentucky and Mississippi State battled in a back-and-forth game today and the Wildcats actually had the top-ranked team in the country on the ropes late in the fourth quarter, only to screw the pooch in the final minutes. The Wildcats scored to get within seven points on a Patrick Towles 4-yard run with 2:31 left in the game. On the ensuing kickoff, Kentucky tried an onside kick but Mississippi State fielded it cleanly and Christian Holmes returned it 61 yards to put an end to any threat of an upset.Mississippi State held on to win 45-31 and this poor old dude doesn't know what just happened (probably because of the incredible change of fortune, not because he's an old, confused gentleman).[CBS]
