As the founder of Strike Gently Co, I deal in pins and patches daily. Creators asked me to pull together a weekly roundup of the best newly-released pins. Most of these will probably sell out. If you like them, smash that "add to cart" button.
Whether you're getting tied or doing the tying, we all love getting tied up, am I right? Wait, not everyone? Well, these thick gold-plated 'playful' pins from Hannah Nance will look good no matter what you're into.
I'm a driver, so I didn't even know this pin was about biking until I went to the site. That's the beauty of true art—your subjective experience informs how you feel about it. Much wow. Vacation Forever makes cool bike stuff, but their pins will look good on anyone who likes going outside (I won't make any assumptions…).
Frankly, I find this pin offensive. To take a symbol of American taste and class and deface it with something as vulgar as a… a… a butt?! It's preposterous! While you may get a few hearty giggles from strangers on the subway, you won't hear them over your Isaac Hayes Spotify playlist.
I don't know what I like about this one, but even the foulest creatures need a vacation every now and then. Who are you to judge???
I don't know if hand rolls are more or less authentic than maki rolls, but ever since I discovered them, I've ordered them exclusively. You can fill them with wasabi until your head explodes, and also, more seaweed. You can never have enough seaweed. I like hand rolls enough that I might just buy this pin.
Ok, that's it. Go check out my shop: www.strikegently.co.
