It was pitch black before 6 PM on the shortest day of the year. The rain was falling, but the heat was rising from the wood fired pizza truck parked up out front of BEOP studios in the industrial part of the Auckland suburb Eden Terrace. Apparently the space was once an arms factory. Tonight the warehouse was being used to celebrate all things Kendrick Lamar.
In celebration of Kendrick's new record Damn, VICE hosted a screening of our VICELAND Noisey Bompton episode, followed by a party with DJ Sir-Vere spinning a Kendrick heavy TDE set, and beer flowing freely courtesy of the good folk at Brothers.
