How the Black Heroes Matter movement started at Comic-Con

Award-winning comic book writer David F. Walker, whose credits include books for Marvel and DC Comics, organized a small Black Lives Matter flash mob at San Diego Comic-Con that crescendoed into a movement promoting the development of original characters of color. Dexter Thomas spoke with Walker about where the movement currently stands and where it’s headed.
