What would happen if you could sip endless amounts of delicious Belgian beer and indulge in a feast inspired by Brussels? For the lucky attendees of the second installment of our Crafted Dinner series with Leffe, that situation became a reality, as more than 80 guests joined us for an evening of beer, beer, and more beer served with the culinary creations of chef Spike Mendelsohn at Bearnaise Restaurant in Washington, DC. Naturally, the beer even made its way into many of the dishes.

The evening started with countless rounds of Leffe Blonde and Leffe Brune, and appetizers of beef tartare crostini, brussels sprouts with Béarnaise, and delicious Leffe mussel shooters.
Once everyone sat down for dinner, it was time for the autumnal menu, which included crispy pigs feet and chicken liver pâté, followed by a salade maison with a delicious Leffe vinaigrette; chicken paillaird and frites, braised in Leffe Blonde with dijonaise sauce; and seasonal mushrooms, carrots, and French green beans glazed in Leffe Brune.
The evening was finished off with heavenly profiteroles—a mixture of homemade vanilla custard, choux pastry, and an indulgent chocolate sauce—and, of course, more Leffe Blonde.
Stay tuned for one more upcoming dinner from MUNCHIES and Leffe. We'll join forces with Bart Vandaele of Belga on December 7. Thanks to everyone who came, and we hope to see more of your faces at our future event!
