Justice Shares Mysterious Artwork for a Potential New Album Called "WOMAN"

A 3-CD boxset from the band of the same title has appeared on Amazon's German webstore.

French duo Justice took to Facebook this morning to share a mysterious piece of artwork featuring their signature cross and an opalescent swirl of paint, posting it with the caption "WOMAN." Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé provided no other information when they published the post at 7 AM EST, but we're obviously meant to wonder whether this is cover art for a follow-up single to "Safe And Sound," or perhaps the artwork for their long-awaited new album.

There has been a good deal of hype regarding the possibility of a new Justice album in 2016, and the duo confirmed that they were "almost finished" with a new album when they were interviewed by BBC DJ Annie Mac for the debut of "Safe And Sound" on July 13. They did not specify an album title or release date, though.

Interestingly, at the time of publication the band's Wikipedia page states plainly that the above announcement was for the band's third album, called Woman. It has one citation for this claim, linking to the German Amazon store, where there is a listing for 3-CD box set called Woman by the band. The listing says it will be released on November 18 of this year by Because Records, who does in fact represent Justice along with Ed Banger records, according to the band's website.

THUMP has reached out to Because and Ed Banger for comment.
