A couple months ago the Libertarian party caught wind of the genius behind Shadow 08, a farcical internet campaign to elect a Shakespearean actor playing the part of an unidentifiable politician as D.C. shadow senator, and asked him to seriously think about running for office. No word on whether the party’s backed down once the shadow government included a shadow war—the Potomac War, a staged insurgence that started when the capitol supposedly suffered food shortage due to spiking gas prices—but Joe Lieberman’s blowing a major gasket over it.
