Kirk Knight and Nyck Caution of Pro Era Don't Phone It in for "Dial Up"

You used to call me on your landline.

Despite its members being mostly not being old enough to fully remember the days of both dial-up internet and landline phones, Pro Era have nonetheless decided to tackle this ancient technology. Nyck @ Knight (a collab between rapper Nyck Caution and producer/rapper Kirk Knight) are the ones to do attempt this on their new song "Dial Up," a big, booming rap anthem that, naturally, samples a phone ringing.

The song comes ahead of the duo's self-titled debut, which is out next Friday, July 21. On the song, Caution told Noisey that "I want people to feel like they're about to lose their minds when the song comes on," while Knight said "I was sort of going for a child's lullaby, which was actually my idea for a lot of the songs on Nyck @ Knight." You can listen to "Dial Up" below and also check Nyck @ Knight's East Coast tour dates.
