Today, Sunday January 8, would have been David Bowie’s 70th birthday; this Tuesday will mark the one year anniversary of the legendary artist’s death. To mark this, a new video for the Lazarus cut “No Plan” has been released. There are nods to Bowie’s artistic history in the Tom Hingston-directed clip: the stacked TV screens call back to The Man Who Fell to Earth, the “Newton Electrical” store a reference to the character of Thomas Newton. At the very end, it’s just Bowie flickering on the screen, the gathered public staring through the windows.
