Eclipses, like you, are over-the-top, and we have two of them this month: a solar eclipse in Virgo on September 1 and a lunar eclipse in Pisces on September 16. What do eclipses do? They bring transformation—things end, and new doors open. There is usually a feeling that whatever takes place during an eclipse is "fated" or "meant to be." You might not usually believe that everything happens for a reason, but it feels that way right now. Eclipses reveal secrets and show us our world in a new way—and this month, Sag, the eclipses will be working with your career and reputation, as well as your home and family.

The September 1 solar eclipse in hardworking Earth sign Virgo will be activating the sector of your chart that rules fame and fortune. How do people see you, Sag? What do you want to be known for? These are big questions this month. Expect major shifts to happen at work or concerning your popularity or reputation. If you've been an asshole, this is a splendid time for everyone to hear about it, but if you've been diligently hard at work, these eclipses could lead you somewhere wonderful.

Someone may question your authority or expertise during the Virgo solar eclipse, due to the Sun in Virgo making a challenging aspect to taskmaster Saturn, which is currently in your sign. Even worse, you may doubt yourself! Just do the best you can, Sag, and trust that everyone is having a crazy time thanks to the eclipses, not just you. We're all in this together! (And anyone who doubts you can go fuck themselves, seriously.)

You're not a crybaby at all, Sagittarius, but eclipses are especially stressful, emotional times, so let yourself feel your feelings. Give yourself extra time to get work done, and do something to pamper yourself. You're in the spotlight, and you're trying to figure out where home is and what family means to you—which is not easy for anyone to deal with, even a tough centaur such as yourself.

One of the reasons these eclipses will feel so intense is because Mercury will be retrograde in Virgo (it began last month, on August 30, and will go on until September 22). Mercury retrograde sucks. It's a bad time to buy electronics, travel, sign contracts, or basically do anything important. Delays and miscommunications abound.

This retrograde is especially wacky for your career and your reputation: Give yourself extra time to complete projects at work, don't make promises you know you can't keep (actually, don't make any promises at all), and be on the lookout because you will likely run into old coworkers, bosses, or authority figures. On the bright side, Mercury retrograde is a good time to catch up on old projects and to be conscious about slowing down—something that you will really benefit from during these eclipses. Watch out for ideas or conversations that have occurred since August 10 to come back up in your life.

The September 16 lunar eclipse in sensitive Water sign Pisces will activate the sector of your chart that rules your home, family, and your sense of safety and security. There isn't much about eclipses that feels "safe"—the energy is turbulent as hell! But have faith that the eclipses are shaking things up for the purpose of showing you where in your home life things need to be addressed. If a fight between you and your roommate has been waiting to happen, this eclipse will kick it into action—which means that you'll finally be able to address and resolve whatever tension you were dealing with.

Reconnecting with your family, your ancestors, or your hometown is a wonderful way to honor this eclipse, but be warned: You could make some very shocking discoveries.

The eclipses aren't the only things fucking with you this month: Saturn, currently in your sign, squares Neptune on September 10. Saturn is the planet of obstacles and fears, and yay, it'll be in your sign until December 20, 2017. It sucks, I know, but this transit does have a purpose: to make you an even more mature, stable, confident person. Saturn is the planet of rules, but also of mastery. If you're not afraid of hard work, Saturn will reward you in the end.

But we're nowhere near the end now, my centaur friend, and on September 10, Saturn will clash with nebulous Neptune in dreamy, hazy Pisces. Anxiety will be in the air. People will be acting from a place of fear, and we're all be feeling a little lost. Again, Sag, remember that we are all in this together. You'll especially feel the energy play out in your home and with your family. Between Saturn, Neptune, and the eclipses, things will need to change. Change is scary, but I know that you know it's often the best thing that can happen.

Good stuff will also happen this month, believe it or not: On September 9, your ruling planet Jupiter enters Libra, where it will stay until October 10, 2017. This is fantastic for your social life! Libra's energy is charming, intellectual, and all about relationships, and Jupiter is the planet of abundance and growth: Expect your social circle to expand and for you to join some wonderful communities or groups.

More good news: On September 22, the Sun enters Libra, marking the beginning of autumn, and Mercury ends its retrograde in Virgo! The next day, September 23, sweet Venus enters sexy Scorpio and inspires you to approach things in a more discreet way, especially love and money, two Venus-ruled topics. You're all about privacy early this fall, Sagittarius! People will find you very mysterious.

On September 26, power planet Pluto ends its retrograde in Capricorn, so expect some movement on the financial front. This is also a wonderful day to network or hang out with friends: The Sun in lovely Libra will be sitting with lucky Jupiter! Another fantastic day to go out will be September 30, thanks to the new moon in Libra. New moons are all about new beginnings, and this one will create a fresh start in your social life—awesome!

On September 27, warrior Mars enters driven Earth sign Capricorn, activating the financial sector of your chart: yay! Capricorn is a very practical, materially minded energy—it's definitely not afraid of hard work, but it's also good at negotiating, delegating, and making good investments.
