THUMP UK's Seven Most Played

Our round up of the seven best things we heard in the UK office this week.

Welcome to Seven Most Played. THUMP UK's weekly round up of the seven best things we've heard all week.

Happy friday afternoon everyone, and congratulations on reaching the end of what might be the hardest week of the year. That is assuming this week has been your first week back at work after Christmas, if you're a student or you're still on holiday for some reason then congratulations and have you got any chocolate orange left? Going in to the new year we wanted to establish a new way of rounding up the best music we've heard in the THUMP UK office all week, hence the arrival of Seven Most Played. This week we've got five tracks, including a sample of some new stuff on Livity Sound from Batu, Kink's smashing Kerrier District rework, Joseph Marinetti's LuckyMe advent calendar entry, a free download courtesy of Mr Mitch and some more superbly wonky house from firm THUMP favourite Frits Wentink. Then there's a tumultuous but totally gorgeous Dekmantel mix from Manchester don Jon K, and Eclair Fifi's sensational debut show on NTS. For the first week of the year, that's not bad going.
