Jay Cutler Throws Pick-Six, Leaves Game after Injuring Himself on Return

Jay Cutler threw a pick-six and injured himself trying to tackle the returner.

Jay Cutler was having a pretty good game until Tony Jefferson picked him off late in the second quarter and returned it for a 26-yard touchdown. Cutler was 8/8 for 120 yards and one touchdown before that bad throw—Martellus Bennett was open, but he threw it behind him—and made matters worse for the Bears when he was injured on the return.

It's unclear what exactly the injury is; it looks like his head slammed pretty hard into the turf, but he also could have mangled his right shoulder on the dive. Cutler went into the locker room and, as of publishing, the Bears had not indicated the type of injury. Jimmy Clausen is in backing up.
