The Horror of Art

Catch Faris Badwan of The Horrors Current Art Exhibition.

Joshua Third’s band mate and the lead singer from the Horrors, Faris Badwan, has an exhibition of his art work called Drawing a Straight Number 9 on at The Book Club, 100 Leonard Street, Shoreditch, London, just down the road from the Vice London offices, until August 29th. It features ink illustrations of mouse serpents and figurative pieces, along with paintings and film projections; and it’ll be worth your time if you’re in the area to pop in and have a browse. You can even buy some of the prints, if you take a fancy to them. And if you’re a fan of Mr Badwan then here’s his cover version of The Black Lips’s song “I’ll Be With You,” which he released under his side project, Lumina, with Cherish Kaya of Ipso Facto. If you're interested in digging up the original, "I'll Be With You" was the B-side to the Black Lips’s single “Drugs,” which was released last year on Vice Records.
