Graffiti Research Labs Wants YOU For Media Facades Festival

Submit digital graffiti tags for possible inclusion in the media festival.

Stencils, spray paint, and paint rollers seem almost prehistoric as LED, lasers, projectors, and computers are quickly revolutionizing the way graffiti artists create and share their work. And you don't need to be a full-on street artist to have your work grace the side of a building, either.

F.A.T. Lab (co-founded by Creator James Powderly) invites you to submit your own digital graffiti tag to be considered for display in the Graffiti Research Labs installation at the Media Facades Festival taking place all over Europe from August 27th to October 2nd.

To upload your tag, download the free program, Graffiti Analysis Capture Application, which will save your work in Graffiti Markup Language (.gml), then upload the file to 000000book.com for consideration. If mobility is more your style, the program is also available in an iPhone compatible version, as well as a standalone version that requires a webcam and a light source attached to a graffiti implement like a spraycan or a marker.

Get cracking because submissions are only being accepted until July 31st and this may be your only chance to see your name in lights. Not to mention, you get the opportunity to have your work "exhibited abroad" — how's that for bragging rights?
