Apparently, there’s a Guinness World Record for the most light orbs in a single long-exposure photograph, and 12 photographers just set a new milestone with their image of 200 illuminated spheres. Andrew Wells, the previous record holder, spun 100 beams of light for half an hour to capture photograph “The Century of Light Orbs” in 2011. Last July, a team of light painters took over a field in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains with LED poles to become the subsequent reigning champions. According to Peta Pixel, the project has been verified by the official Guinness World Record committee, making 200 the number to beat.
