On August 26, 2015, the Santa Clara District Attorney charged Ahmad Brooks with misdemeanor sexual battery stemming from an incident that occurred on December 15, 2014 at his then-teammate Ray McDonald’s house.

In a civil complaint filed by the alleged victim, Keiley Wolff, in May 2015, she states that she slipped and hit her head on the side of a swimming pool. She alleges that, while slipping in and out of consciousness due to the head injury and alcohol consumption, Brooks groped her in a sexual manner.

On September 29, 2015, Brooks’ lawyer entered a not guilty plea on Brooks’ behalf at the Santa Clara County Superior Court in San Jose, CA. The case is ongoing.

Although the NFL placed Brooks on indefinite leave during the 2015 pre-season, he returned to the league during week one of regular season. He is currently listed as active on the 49ers’ team roster and playing in games.

Brooks did not return Broadly’s request for comment.
