On November 1, 2012, the state of Florida declined to pursue the case, following an investigation, and the charges were dropped. Before the charges were dropped, the alleged victim filed a waiver not to prosecute. Neither the NFL nor his team the Baltimore Ravens ever took action against McClellan, and he is still active in the league.

When reached for comment, McClellan’s representative told Broadly that “any and all charges were dismissed/dropped.”
