Following the success of his Take Over You and Changes/Questions EPs dropped over the last two years, Sydney-based DJ, producer and French Express label mainstay, Isaac Tichauer, returns with a steamy remix of “Like an Animal,” the new single from fellow Australians RÜFÜS. On his remix, Tichauer infuses the dance-pop group’s R&B-centered track with his signature chilled-out house demeanor, layering the trio’s warm vocal tendencies atop a some dreamy atmospherics that might just help to soothe the struggle you’re currently feeling from partying hard this last halloweekend.

“I wanted to produce a vocal version of the original versus a club mix,” Tichauer tells us over email. “When I listened to the vocals, they had soft, sweet moments and then big moments in the chorus, so I designed the sounds in the same way, blending bell and chime samples with heavier distorted sounds from my Poly Evolver.”
