USA - The VICE Guide to Travel

We're only a couple weeks away from the US release of the VICE Guide to Travel, the first installment in our new DVD series. It's kinda like a moving version of the  magazine. For this first one we dispatched correspondents to vist the planet's weirdest and most dangerous places.

We went to Pygmy villages in the Congo, the radioactive ruins of Chernobyl, and the illegal arms markets of Pakistan. We looked for mythical beasts, met the PLO boy scouts (suicide bombers of tomorrow), chatted with a man who sold black market nuclear warheads and hung out with Osama bin Laden, and got shot at in the slums of Rio. For real. You can check out some exclusive clips we made for MySpace here, and some other ones here.

Anyway, it's coming out in the US on October 3rd, so look for it (coming soon to the rest of the world). You can also buy it now through the VICE store. It comes with a 72 page hardcover book with new VICE stories and photos, too.

There's also a ton of good songs in the Guide from bands like Black Lips, Japanther, Bonde de Role and a bunch of others, so we made a littlemusic player, which you can find here.

Next up: The VICE Guide to Sex Drugs & Rock n' Roll. On DVD.
