Santa must be the world’s most prolific coffee drinker. There’s nothing else out there that could power a man through such a whirlwind of a busy, busy night that we know of (ahem).

He also knows just what to bring the coffee lover in your life for Christmas this year: Bean Box’s Merry Mornings Coffee Club. (Even if the coffee lover in your life is actually just yourself.)

Bean Box, purveyor of coffee gift boxes and subscriptions, has put a Christmas-centric twist on their usual coffee curations. If you buy before Thanksgiving, you can enjoy five weeks worth of special, surprise coffees you can only get for a limited time around the holidays, right up through Christmas morning.

Bean Box carries more than 600 types of single-origin and small-batch coffees from independent roasters around the country. Leaning on the expansive reach of those partnerships, they’re able to offer a monthlong treat created especially for Christmas.

Each week for five weeks, beginning Thanksgiving week and ending right before Christmas, you get a different 12 oz. bag of limited-edition 2024 blends of whole bean or ground (your choice).

“Your first coffee will arrive gift-wrapped by Santa himself, in festive packaging, along with a postcard from the North Pole to kick off your holiday coffee adventure,” says Bean Box.

It’s a surprise as to what you get, but holiday blends offered by Bean Box have included coffees with notes of roasted chestnut, spicy gingerbread, cranberries, spicy chocolate, and figgy pudding, chosen from specialty roasters from around the U.S.

Note that these aren’t flavored with these ingredients the way Starbucks dumps a bunch of caramel in your latte. They’re naturally occurring compounds in the roasted beans that give gentle hints of such flavors, the way some coffees hint citrus or hazelnut flavor notes.

“As an inaugural member of the (Merry Mornings Coffee Club),” Bean Box writes, “you’ll get access to exclusive holiday deals and a chance to win a free year of coffee in 2025.”

Not every adult is lucky to get a gift-wrapped surprise on (or near) Christmas. Lots of us adults do all the wrapping and all of the surprising. What’s as simple as a special coffee in a festive red bag could also be a bit of well deserved, old-time holiday magic for a loved one, or your own weary, caffeine-addled self.

It may just be nice to relive a bit of that childhood joy by unwrapping something selected just for you amidst the garland and the tinsel. Thanksgiving (and Christmas) are bearing down on you, so hurry up and don’t get left out in the snow.

There are holiday this and holiday that, such as all manner of advent calendars, and even themed boxes of whiskey and sex toys for December. But there’s a real lack of Christmas-themed coffee boxes, which might be the number one problem facing the world today, so shoutout to Bean Box for addressing that.

Now bring me some figgy pudding (coffee).
