The Chainsmokers Are Selling $400 Denim Jackets at Their Pop-up Shop

There are only 100 of them in existence.

How much do you love The Chainsmokers?

Do you love them enough to pay $400 for one of their custom denim jackets?

If so, today is the last day to make a purchase at their first ever pop-up shop in New York City. According to a report from Stereogum, the pop up shop is selling, among other things, t-shirts, hoodies, and those one-of-a-kind denim jackets. There are reportedly only 100 of them in existence and they are unique because the Chainsmokers themselves embellished them.

Reporter Kelly Conaboy's description of the jackets is worth considering before dropping any serious coins.

The jackets were hideous. Truly, truly hideous, and I think it is very rude of the Chainsmokers to make their sweet megafans embellish themselves so hideously, with these hideous denim jackets. They were torn and studded and bleached, scribbled with words like MEMORIES and THE CHAINSMOKERS. Old Chainsmokers t-shirts were cut up and pasted onto their backs and shoulders, the faces of the Chainsmokers ever-present. The washes, though various, were uniformly unflattering. Some of the jackets featured embroidered rose patches, in case you wanted to look like the Twitter bio of the man you met at the party who wouldn't stop talking about how Bernie would have won. Overall they were not the denim jackets for me, personally.

Afraid of missing out? The New York pop-up shop is the last of its three locations (it previously appeared in San Francisco and Toronto). The shop is located at 205 Bleecker Street.
