Today, France is celebrating Bastille Day, their holiday marking the 1789 Storming of the Bastille. What better patriotic celebration could they offer to the world than an army marching band closing a parade by playing a medley of hits by Daft Punk?
The performance, captured in the above video, features the marching band reinterpreting the iconic duo's classics such as "Get Lucky," "Digital Love," "One More Time," and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger." The other focal point of the video is the constant cutting between two important people in attendance: French president Emmanuel Macron, who looks gleefully entertained, and a stoic (or maybe just confused) Donald Trump.
