Is it a Capri Sun or a brightly colored cocktail?

This is a question that one Australian mom failed to ask when she sent her five-year-old daughter to school with a Smirnoff Frozen Pouch tucked neatly into her lunchbox. You see, in Australia and much of the English-speaking world, Smirnoff offers a pouch of fruit-flavored vodka that looks pretty much exactly like a juice pouch. Except it contains the good stuff.

Smirnoff calls its frozen pouches "delicious new drinking sensation[s] from the number 1 spirits brand in the world. Enjoy refreshing fruit flavors combined with the smooth taste of Smirnoff Vodka straight from your freezer." And one little girl in Australia almost did.

In a Facebook post that has now gone viral, our nominee for Bad Mom of 2017 wrote: "EPIC lunchbox fail when you tell your five-year-old Preppie to put a frozen juice pouch in her lunchbox and you forget the other pouches in your freezer." By "other pouches," she obviously means the vodka. "Made for a veeeeery interesting phone call from the teacher!"

According to the Australian parenting website Kidspot, the school didn't crack down too hard on the mom: "They were very good about it lol. I made light of it (it was obviously innocent on my daughter's behalf). I apologised [sic] for not sending enough for the teachers and they just laughed, thankfully."

This all could have made for an interesting recess—not to mention nap time.
