In today's landscape, where the US's much-protested president and his cabinet have deleted all references to climate change on the official White House website, and have reported plans to abolish the Environmental Protection Agency, preserving the planet is more important than ever.

In 2008, Brooklyn-based artist Sammy Bananas launched an environmentally-conscious collective, DJs for Climate Action (DJ4CA), to keep track of their carbon footprint as frequently traveling musicians, and also to spread awareness of environmental issues among their large fan-bases.

Today, he has shared a video for DJ4CA's latest annual pledge drive. In the phone-focused vignette, multiple right swipes reveal nature-filled images and cameos from fellow artists including A-Trak, Louisahhh!!!, Anna Lunoe, Soul Clap, DJ Spooky, RJD2, and more, all of whom pledge to use "the power of music" to amplify the cause. Watch it below.

Tomorrow (February 17), DJ4CA will be hosting an "Activate" party-fundraiser at Friends & Lovers in Brooklyn. Bananas heads the bill, along with DJ Lindsey, Sam OB, and Just Max. A $10 donation is suggested, with all doors proceeds (and a fraction of proceeds from the bar) going to environmental action group Natural Resources Defense Council.
