Dorsia Builds a Sublime, Bubbly Rhythm in Their New Tune “Formative Years”

An enchanting new cut from two young producers with an affinity for vinyl.

A long time ago, the Spice Girls noted the beauty of when "2 Become 1." I'd like to think that the gist of that anthem resonates in dance music through the unity of two like minded people―particularly in the mind of vinyl enthusiasts. So when Adam Reid and Andy Watson united their like-minded music philosophies and reputable wax collections, Dorsia took flight.

While putting their own sheen on the house and techno that nourished the Detroit and Chicago movements in the '90s, Dorsia has picked up well-deserved support and acclamation. Their second release is a two track EP called Bygones on the UK label Chasing Unicorns. The second track "Formative Years" is an enchanting cut from the two young producers and packs bubbling rhythms, a display of catchy voice inflections and a hook that prevents stillness.

You can grab the Bygones EP on Chasing Unicorns February 2nd, 2015.
