Start your day with VICE Sports. Here's our morning roundup of the sports news from around the world.

Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 20th of August, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA.

This weekend, St. Pauli, the beloved leftist soccer club from Hamburg, will take on RB Leipzig, Germany's most hated team. RB Leipzig is de facto owned by Red Bull, effectively circumventing Germany's famous 50+1 rule, which guarantees clubs are majority owned by their members. St. Pauli's homepage shows every club logo in the 2nd Bundesliga except RB Leipzig's. In the space reserved for the upcoming fixture, it reads "St. Pauli - werbung" (Werbung is German for advertising). (H/t Speigel.)

A little transfer news to report: Barcelona's Pedro is reportedly on the verge of signing for Chelsea. He was about to sign for Manchester United, but apparently his old buddy Fabregas (and his girlfriend) convinced Pedro to make the move to Chelsea instead. Real Madrid has reportedly accepted Arsenal's bid for Karim Benzema. Everton, meanwhile, are trying to sign Dante from Bayern Munich.

Stan Wawrinka talked to the press about the infamous Nick Kyrgios diss. During a recent match, Kyrgios told Wawrinka that another player "banged" his girlfriend. Wawrinka said the comment "hurt" a lot of people.

Oscar Pistorius, the South African "bladerunner" who was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to five years in jail after shooting his girlfriend to death, was granted parole after serving just 10 months of his sentence. A judge then blocked his early release.

Young American hotshot Gedion Zelalem was sent to Scotland's Rangers on loan from Arsenal. It's probably a good move for the kid. He should get some first team action.

More athletes have gotten sick in Rio de Janeiro during the run up to the Olympics. A number of events are set to take place in water heavily polluted with human waste.

Another walk off homer, another great picture. Here's Henry Urrutia getting hit in the face with a pie after winning the game for the Orioles, who played the Mets last night.
