LONDON - FULL METAL JACKET

They stuck a sachet of fake blood to their Slayer Reign In Blood anniversary issue. They affixed an inverted crucifix to their black metal special issue. Now the marketing guys over at Metal Hammer have siezed upon Metallica's new album to publish (you guessed it) an issue with a metal cover. To hammer the point home, in the ad for the mag they remind us (probably in a gravelly voice) that it's "presented in the same stuff battle-axes, chain mail, and heavy artillery is made of." Why stop there? There's so much rad stuff made from metal they forgot to add to the list. What about ninja stars, flick knives, tea kettles, tiny screws for glasses, taps, bird cages, radiators, traffic lights, fillings, spoons, door knobs…
