Boys Noize Premiered His ‘Snowden’ Soundtrack Video on 4Chan’s 404 Page

Boys Noize contributed a version of his song “Mayday” to the soundtrack for Oliver Stone’s biopic Snowden—now, he’s shared a visual for the propulsive techno banger. In keeping with the film’s free-speech theme, the song was premiered on 4Chan’s 404 page—it’s a fitting tribute to Snowden, who’s become a hero to free speech activists and the Chan community. The video itself is a fast-paced barrage of vaguely threatening surveillance footage and war scenes, interspersed with cheeky text. The words “You’re an a**hole” flash on screen, followed by, “that was for your boss…[who is] legally allowed to spy on you.”
