Britney Spears’ QAnon Fans Have a Wild Plan to ‘Save’ Her

QAnon wants to save Britney Spears and claims the singer is a victim of Hollywood sex trafficking that “ties directly to Pizzagate.”

One of the biggest and earliest QAnon influencers, Liz Crokin, created a new channel on the encrypted messaging platform Telegram called “Free Britney” on Wednesday, and says the aim of the channel is “to encourage a citizen investigation into the trafficking of Britney Spears.”

The channel claims the “media has failed to do real investigation [sic] journalism into the many crimes & human rights abuses committed against Britney.”

Crokin, a former gossip columnist, has been one of the loudest proponents of QAnon from the moment “Q” posted their first message on 4chan at the end of October 2017.

“When Q first dropped his first drop, I just immediately knew it was legit,” Crokin told the recent HBO documentary series ‘Q: Into the Storm.’ “I just knew it intuitively. Everything resonated to me and everything added up.”

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene says Crokin was the person to first inspire her interest in the conspiracy movement back in November 2017.

Over the last three years, Crokin has focused a lot of her attention on the baseless claims that sex-trafficking and pedophilia are rampant in Hollywood. She has publicly accused celebrities like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and Lil Nas X of being complicit in this conspiracy.

After Crokin announced that she was establishing a new Britney-focused Telegram channel, she posted an update on her own channel saying many followers told her it was foolish to get involved with the “Free Britney” movement, as it was not relevant to the wider QAnon conspiracies she’s been pushing

But according to Crokin, it’s all connected.

“Britney Spears is a trafficking victim, period. My work has primarily focused on exposing trafficking specifically in Hollywood for literally the past 5 years. The situation with Britney ties directly to Pizzagate, and the exposure of what happened to her can potentially lead to the bigger exposure of the epidemic of trafficking of stars in Hollywood, the rampant pedophilia, Project Monarch & so so much more,” Crokin wrote in a comment that has been viewed 280,000 times.

Project Monarch is a reference to a conspiracy theory that posits the existence of a government-run program that tested mind control on children and was supposedly linked to MK-Ultra, the very real CIA program that illegally experimented on people in San Francisco in the 1950s and 1960s.

The Free Britney channel has posted a series of updates since launching, and has promoted Rep. Matt Gaetz’s appearance at a #FreeBritney rally on Wednesday. This is despite the fact that Gaetz is currently being investigated for the very thing QAnon purports to be fighting: sex trafficking.

Crokin’s posts have been shared widely by major QAnon channels, and members of those groups have chimed in with their own theories about what is going on with Spears.

“Britney was victim to the Hollywood pedophile class,” one Telegram user named Benjamin wrote under Crokin’s post. “They don’t want to investigate because it’ll open up the whole damned evil system to the world.”

Another user, called Tee, wrote: “I hope that her coming forward will break open the pandora’s box of evil once and for all to provide justice for all who are caught up in this satanic cult.”

A user called Nikki said she had been looking into MK-Ultra for “over a decade” and concluded that  “Britney is definitely a victim.”

Last month, Spears spoke out against the conservatorship she’s been bound by for the last 13 years, which has put her finances under the legal authority of her father James “Jamie” Spears. Her testimony sparked nationwide cries to free Spears from its clutches. On Tuesday, a Los Angeles court granted Spears the right to hire her own lawyer, and she told the court she wanted her father charged with conservatorship abuse
