In exciting news for the footworkers out there, Teklife kingpin DJ Spinn — and his sadly deceased partner in crime, DJ Rashad — have hooked up with everyone’s favourite super-lewd rapper Danny Brown for a prime slice of manic, jerking, good old fashioned juke gold.

“Dubby” which features on the upcoming Off That Loud EP for Hyperdub, is a typically frantic and frenetic twist and turner from the Spinn school of hyper-complex production. The video features most of the Teklife family doing their thing and a tonne of footworking. As you’d expect. The tune’s further proof that the scene’s not let itself wallow in the aftermath of Rashad’s tragic passing last year — Teklife, who’ve finally founded their own label are more of a force to be reckoned with than ever.
