Chelsea took a 1-0 lead over Stoke City on an Eden Hazard penalty kick in the 39th minute and then Stoke equalized five minutes later from at least 10 yards inside their own half. The ball found Charlie Adam near midfield and, noticing Thibaut Courtois out of position, he let it rip from distance. We’re talking Chris-Berman-local-references-at-the-Home-Run-Derby distance. Courtois got a hand on it, but it was no use.
