Chemsex: the name given to the rising phenomenon that refers to the use of drugs in a sexual context. Often referring to group sex that can last for days, the allure of chemsex has led to many young men being trapped in a vicious circle of sex, addiction and dependence.
The VICE documentary CHEMSEX tells the stories of gay men whose lives have been affected by the crisis, from self-confessed “slammers” to sexual health workers; from those who deny there’s a problem to those who “got out alive”.

Tomorrow, Tuesday the 1st of December, there will be a special screening of the film at 6:30PM at Curzon Soho, followed by a panel discussion. It will then be on general release in the following locations:
- Curzon Bloomsbury. Daily screenings.
- Shortwave, Bermondsey, the 9th of December. A screening at 8:45PM followed by a panel discussion.
- Picturehouse Central. Daily screenings from the 9th of December.
- Dukes @ Komedia, Brighton. A screening on the 11th of December.
- Arts Picturehouse, Cambridge. A screening at 6:30PM on the 12th of December, followed by a panel discussion, with more shows to follow.
- FACT, Liverpool. A screening at 3:45PM on the 13th of December, followed by a panel discussion, with more shows to follow.
- HOME, Manchester. A one-off screening on the 12th of December.
