This Fourth of July weekend, as people get fucked up all around the country, state police will be stepping up law enforcement to try control the  burger-filled, lager-soaked masses—just like they tried to do yesterday all throughout Canada, for Canada Day.

The extra police patrolling downtown Ottawa didn’t stop Flyers captain Claude Giroux from ending up in jail. According to the Ottawa Sun, dude was cuffed for slapping a male police officers ass. Seriously:

“Although few details were immediately available, a source said Giroux was arrested for repeatedly grabbing the buttocks of a male police officer. Alcohol is believed to have been involved.”

Alcohol, you say? Why I never.
