Summer is officially over in four days, and before you start crying wet hot tears over the coming months of frostbite, here’s a jam that perfectly encapsulates the tail end of the warmer season. “ENCHANTé” comes from longtime French producer Laurent Garnier via his BA371 EP, which was released a few weeks ago on Hypercolour. The warm, rolling bass tones, faraway vocal snips, buoyant hand drums, and slight shuffle jive well with the label’s plush house aesthetic, not to mention the vibe of dwindling hot days. Likewise, the video taps into a summery feeling with grainy shots of beach scenes refracted through an old TV screen. Tan lines: we miss you already.
