Toronto’s Adam K should be a name that is familiar to dance fans—he’s been a progressive house powerhouse for more than a decade and hits like “4AM,” “Raining,” and “Need To Feel Love” are just the tip of the iceberg. His latest hit, the vocal-driven “Come Alive,” sees the 15-year veteran hitchhike down the mainstream for an infectious crossover hit.
“I’ve been blown away by all the support and love that this song has received and I’m really excited for the video release,” says Adam K. “It’s a chance for people to experience the music in a different way, through this video story.”

Although “Come Alive” is a departure from Adam K’s signature sound, it still shows off the producer’s knack for delivering ear-warming melodies. The music video follows a pair of road-tripping party-girls looking for a little adventure on the wide, open highway. Director Jon Story compares the plotline to a “kind of Thelma & Louise-lite road trip” with “upbeat synth melodies and acoustic guitar riffs.” Along the way, Matthew Steeper’s soaring vocals serenade the listener with a tune that feels at home being played out at a festival or in a convertible driving down the freeway.
