Enrol here, or update your details here.Ariel Pink sounds weary, even forlorn, when he sings, "There I go again, falling in love again," on the opening line of "Feel Like Heaven", the latest track from his upcoming album Dedicated to Bobby Jameson.The talented, sometimes-misunderstood Los Angeles songwriter releases the track today to coincide with the announcement of an Australian tour, which includes an appearance at the Melbourne Recital Centre as part of Melbourne Music Week.Playing tribute to the promise of romance, the song features the kind of arrangements that have helped make Pink one of the most unique and singular pop voices of the last decade.For Dedicated to Bobby Jameson, Pink has returned to the setting of his first recordings: his bedroom. It was there in the late 90s, while attending art school, that he began his home-recorded psych-pop songs. Released via cassette and then reissued on Animal Collective's Paw Tracks label, they eventually led him to signing to 4AD and releasing Before Today which included lead single "Round and Round".His new album, named after Bobby Jameson, a real-life Los Angeles musician who resurfaced online in 2007 having been presumed dead for 35 years, will be out on September 15 via Mexican Summer.
