Some of the most unsung heroes of the Internet are those enterprising souls who spend their enormous amounts of free time to whips together giant mixtapes of absurd video footage. YouTube has democratized the TV Carnage, and the Nic Cage freakout video is going to be in MoMA one day.I feel kinda bad sometimes for Mitt Romney and his rather inept campaign for not doing a very good job of making him seem like anything more than a Bain Capital gaffe-bot, which doesn’t do him or voters a lick of justice. Whether he’s billed as a tax-evading, heartless scrillionaire or a Kenyan socialist, man will always be more complicated than he’s portrayed in the public eye. Then again, sometimes you’re faced with four minutes and fifty-five seconds of a crystal-clear view into a man’s personality, and you realize that for all the bluster, he’s really just that one hilariously awkward college friend who ended up being the most generic sad dad of all time.Follow Derek Mead on Twitter: @derektmead.
