Auburn lost to Texas A&M 41-38 on a godawful final few minutes that ended with the center snapping the ball into his ass while quarterback Nick Marshall was trying to change the play. Driving late in Aggie territory, Auburn fumble in spectacularly inept fashion from the A&M 28-yard line, wiping out any chance of a comeback or late tie. Not only was the snap bad, but Marshall was not immediately aware that the snap was bad, and Texas A&M was able to pounce on the loose ball and end the game. This followed another Auburn fumble on the previous possession, this time down at the goal line after driving 80 yards in less than three minutes. With A&M holding on to that 41-38 lead, It looked like the Tigers were going to pull off another miracle win, or at least tie it, but Marshall fumbled on second-and-goal and the Aggies picked it up, averting disaster and later watching Auburn repeat it.[CBS]
