People were arrested for offenses ranging from drug possession and drug sales to underage attendance and assault and battery, the LA Times reported. The Sheriff's department said that on the festival's first night, police arrested 111 people during security screening at the entrance to the festival. One of those individuals was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence and crashing into a deputy sheriff and his motorcycle. The officer was not injured in the incident.

Following the deaths of three attendees at HARD Summer in July, members of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors are pushing to revisit a ban on rave-like events at the San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore.
