Giants-Saints Was a Ridiculous Shootout

The Giants and Saints combined for 101 points in a wild shootout in New Orleans.

The Giants briefly took a 49-42 lead over the New Orleans Saints this afternoon on a 63-yard fumble return after a big hit jarred the ball loose from Willie Snead. The ball popped right out and into the hands of Trumaine McBride and he took off for the end zone with just about seven minutes left in the game. The Saints came right back with and six-and-a-half minute, 80-yard drive that tied it up with 36 seconds left on Drew Brees's seventh touchdown pass of the day. The Giants then went three-and-out and had to punt the ball back to the Saints with 20 seconds left.
